Involuntary Intermission
The DSL problems that began in January and February continued into March, and were made all the more interesting by various failures of our voice telephone service. A line has been repaired in a distant box, which remedied our voice connection; we have replaced a DSL modem; and now apparently we will need to replace our router so that I may enjoy the routine internet access I had previously become accustomed to.
I have notes for a few long entries I started to write in March, but just a few. Rather than back-posting them to maintain some sort of retroactive continuity, I'll try to pick up where I left off in April, once the replacement router arrives. Please pardon my absence in the meantime.
