(<em>What was that?  Oh, yes, I was &#8216;married&#8217; for a VERY long time.  But also no: I believe in love, just not as a reason to sell pink things<\/em>.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My favorite piece of entertainment with this holiday theme is Janelle Shane&#8217;s 2018 comedic adventure in attempting to train a neural network to make candy heart statements.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"vlp-link-container vlp-template-default wp-block-visual-link-preview-link\">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aiweirdness.com\/candy-heart-messages-written-by-a-18-02-09\/\" class=\"vlp-link\" title=\"Candy Heart messages written by a neural network\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a>\t\t<div class=\"vlp-link-text-container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"vlp-link-title\">\n\t\t\tCandy Heart messages written by a neural network\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"vlp-link-summary\">\n\t\t\tAround Valentine\u2019s Day in the US and UK, these things called candy hearts (or conversation hearts or sweethearts) appear: small and sugary, bearing a simple, short Valentine\u2019s message.
