(When last I visited, it was updated in early November 2020; additional cases have occurred since that time: you can see more recent case counts just by running a search for COVID mink.  Ick.)<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"vlp-link-container vlp-template-default wp-block-visual-link-preview-link\">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/csr\/don\/06-november-2020-mink-associated-sars-cov2-denmark\/en\/\" class=\"vlp-link\" title=\"SARS-CoV-2 mink-associated variant strain \u2013 Denmark\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a>\t\t<div class=\"vlp-link-image-container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"vlp-link-image\">\n\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/about\/Logo-WHO.jpg\" style=\"max-width: 700px; max-height: 700px\" \/>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"vlp-link-text-container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"vlp-link-title\">\n\t\t\tSARS-CoV-2 mink-associated variant strain \u2013 Denmark\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"vlp-link-summary\">\n\t\t\tSince June 2020, 214 human cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Denmark with SARS-CoV-2 variants associated with farmed minks, including 12 cases with a unique variant, reported on 5 November.\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">STOP WEARING ANIMALS, HUMANS!<\/span><\/strong>  <span class=\"has-inline-color has-cyan-bluish-gray-color\">(Yes, I&#8217;d be supportive of humans discontinuing all industrial farming of animals.
